Longest, straight up and down,  Double handed yacht race in the world.

MELBOURNE OSAKA CUP
Double-Handed Yacht Race. A race for adventurous sailors.

The race will have a start in Melbourne, Australia and finish in Osaka bay Japan.

The Melbourne Osaka Cup is a Double-Handed Yacht Race that run 5,500 nautical mile. Essentially a boat, 5,500 Nautical Miles and two people is all you need. Nature provides the 5,500 Nautical miles so all you need is a boat and two people looking for sailing adventure.

To the Austrlian public this race is seen as the longest and most difficult ocean race to leave Australian shores.  Add to that the fact that unlike the Sydney to Hobart ocean yacht race that can pack crew on all over the deck this race is a Double Handed yacht race. Two sailors, a Yacht and 5,500 Nautical Miles (10,200km) of ocean and the wind.

The Melbourne to Osaka sailing race has been running since 1987 on a four yearly cycle and we have seen more than 200 boats enter the race. Why not make your boat a finisher. Come on, this is a once in a lifetime chance.  Join in and race.
